Code of Conduct

Introduction
The Heatherdale Tennis Club (referred to as the “Club”) Code of Conduct (the “Code”) applies to Committee members, officials, players, members, observers and volunteers. Any person who uses our facilities must abide by our Code.

The Club Code is underpinned by the values of respect, tolerance, inclusion and integrity. The Club supports an environment which is welcoming of all; respectful of diversity and which provides a safe environment, especially for children and youth.

All club members are expected to behave in a manner which is reflective of our values.

Guidelines
All persons must:

  1. Behave in a professional and courteous manner to any person who interacts with our Club.
  2. Act in a manner which creates a safe environment for all people, and must not engage in any behaviour which is offensive or harmful to the physical or mental health of any other person.
  3. Act responsibly and refrain from behaviour that results in or potentially results in loss or damage to the club facilities or its assets.
  4. Commit to displaying fair play and sportsmanship in support of our values.

  7. Be honest and act with integrity in any dealing with our Club and not act in any prejudicial manner which may bring the club into disrepute.
  8. Abide by the clubs rules and policies, and of the governing State and National bodies, which have been adopted by the club.
  9. Accept the decision of the Club committee in matters investigated by club officials pertaining to breaches of the Code, except where the Club’s disciplinary framework expressly provides a right to formal review.
