Terms of hire

All bookings are subject to our terms of hire as follows:

Payment
•    All permanent and casual bookings are to be paid online
•    Credit card payments are processed by global payments company Stripe. Your use of the Stripe platform is subject to the Stripe terms and conditions and its privacy policy.
•    If you wish to extend your booking, please do so online. Additional time after your booking must be paid for.

Cancellations and refunds
•    You will receive an automatic refund if you cancel your booking in the online booking system at least one hour before your start time. Please give as much notice as possible so another player is able to book that time.
•    You will not receive a refund if you cancel within one hour of your start time or if you do not turn up for your booking.

Inclement weather and refunds
•    If it is raining or the weather is not conducive to playing tennis, please cancel your booking. Do not assume that it’s automatically cancelled. 
•    Our courts dry quite quickly, so light rain does not usually affect play. However, if you do not wish to play in light rain, please cancel your booking.
•    To receive an automatic refund, you need to cancel in the online booking system at least one hour before your scheduled booking time.
•    If you cancel due to inclement weather within one hour of your booking time, notify us on 0468 472330 with your name, date and time of the booking, and specify that you are cancelling due to inclement weather. We will organise a refund.
•    If you stop playing part-way through your booking due to inclement weather, notify us on 0468 472 330 with your name, date, time of the booking, and what time the weather stopped play. We will refund you the portion of time you were unable to play.

Note that refunds will not include the transaction fee we are charged by the online payment platform.

Permanent bookings
•    We welcome bookings for the same time each week. These bookings continue indefinitely until the hirer cancels. 
•    These bookings are at the discretion of HPTC and are subject to the terms of hire above. 
•    Please note that repeated cancellations mean HPTC can suspend or cancel a permanent booking. We will discuss this with the hirer if required.
