Courts maintenance and preparation

Maintenance of our tennis courts is an important task to keep them in the best possible playing condition.  For your safety and well-being and to enhance the longevity of our courts, please observe these rules for ALL COURTS.

Players not adhering to the maintenance and preparation rules may be asked to leave.

 

BEFORE PLAY

  • Remove all leaves, twigs, and gumnuts, by bagging or raking the court, fence to fence.
  • This rubbish is to be placed in bins at corners of courts 5, 7,  8 & 9.

AFTER PLAY / SET

  • Bag or rake the court, from fence to fence. Place the rubbish in the appropriate bin.

WET WEATHER

  • Do not play during rain or when courts are too wet.
  • En tout cas courts - After the rain, only puddles (not sheets of water) may be mopped up.
  • Synthetic grass courts - After rain, wait for the water to drain away before recommencing play.

HOT AND/OR WINDY DAYS

  • En tout cas courts - MUST watered BEFORE BAGGING and  BEFORE each SET.
