Winter Pennant is a great opportunity to enjoy competitive tennis, meet players from other clubs in the region, and represent Clifton Springs Tennis Club in a friendly but competitive team environment.

We are looking to enter teams across multiple grades, and welcome players of all abilities who are interested in participating. Whether you are an experienced pennant player or keen to try competitive tennis for the first time, we would love to hear from you.

Competition provides the following formats:

• Two male, two female teams playing 6 six game tie break sets comprising four mixed doubles, one women’s doubles and one men’s doubles.
• Four male teams playing 6 six game tie break sets comprising six men’s doubles.
• Three open player teams playing four best-of-two set with a ten-point tiebreaker for the third rubbers, with two being singles and two being doubles.

Each team must nominate a Team Captain to coordinate rosters, collection of competition fees, facilitate court access for home games and to enter/approve scores on ‘Match Centre’ for each round.

Once expressions of interest are received, teams will be formed and further information about the competition schedule will be shared.

Playing pennant is one of the best ways to get involved in the club, build friendships, and enjoy some fantastic tennis during the winter months.

We encourage all interested members to put their hand up and be part of the Clifton Springs Winter Pennant teams.

You must be a current member to play in the Tennis Geelong Pennant competition.
