The Winter Season runs from Early May to Early September 2026; competition held on Saturday mornings commencing at 9:00am in various Tennis Clubs across the greater Geelong region.

Competition provides the following formats:

Premier Boys & Premier Girls:

• 2 player teams with single sex sections
• 2 singles rubbers - best of 2  six game sets (6 all tie-break) with a deciding super tie-break (10 points)
• 1 doubles set - eight game set (8 all tie-break)

Yellow Ball Sections:

• Four player teams with single sex sections
• 4 singles sets - six game set (tie break at 6  games all)
• 2 doubles sets - six game set (tie-break at 6 games all)

Green Ball Sections:

• Four player teams with mixed gender sections
• 4 singles sets - six game set (tie break at 6  games all)
• 2 doubles sets - six game set (tie-break at 6 games all)
• Advantage deuce

Orange Ball Sections:

• Four player teams with mixed gender sections
• 4 singles sets - four game set (first to four, no tie break)
• 2 doubles sets - four game set (first to four, no tie-break)
• Sudden death deuce

Each team must nominate a Team Captain (usually a parent) to coordinate rosters, collection of competition fees, facilitate court access for home games and to enter/approve scores on ‘Match Centre’ for each round.

Once expressions of interest are received, teams will be formed and further information about the competition schedule will be shared.

Junior pennant is one of the best ways to get involved in the club, build friendships, and enjoy some fantastic tennis during the winter months.
