New Head Coach

Dear Members and Friends,

We are very excited to announce that Chadstone Tennis Club has appointed Michael Logarzo as its new Head Coach.  

You can meet Michael at the Chadstone Tennis Club Open Day on Sunday 29 October from 10am-2pm.

Here is a little bit about Michael:

Michael is a leading Australian tennis development and performance coach. He is the
Director and Head Coach of ML Tennis.

With over 20 years of coaching experience, Michael has a record of excellence, instrumental
in the growth of academies and clubs in Australia and the United States.

His passion is to grow the game from the grassroots and provide the fundamentals,
knowledge, mindset, and pathway to give all students the best opportunities to achieve their
goals both in tennis and life.

An avid learner, he has an insatiable passion and thirst for knowledge, enabling him to gain a
comprehensive understanding of tennis at levels and how to guide those players to achieve
their goals. He has studied many different international methodologies, obtained numerous
international qualifications, ensuring he is at the forefront of the game currently and in the
future.

Michael’s record of coaching excellence extends to coaching professional touring players,
national junior champions, and US college players. His players have played at Grand Slam
level, won national and state titles and obtained US College Scholarships. In 2020, he
received the Women's Tennis Coaching Association "Spirit of Coaching Award"; and was the 2022 Tennis Victoria Coaching Excellence – Development award winner. Michael also
presents for Tennis Australia conferences and workshops.

As a player, Michael was a No. 1 ranked Australian junior winning National titles in singles
and doubles. He represented Australia in various age groups, including the Junior Davis Cup.
He achieved career-high rankings of 615 in singles and 257 in doubles, winning several titles
on the ITF Pro Circuit.
