Club Rules
General Conduct & Requirements
Official Rules: The rules of tennis adopted by Tennis Australia apply to all play at the Club.
Court access: is ONLY available for:
- Members of the club.
- Players being coached by Michael Logarzo Tennis Coaches (during lesson times only).
- Non-members who have paid to book a court ($20 per hour non peak rate / $30 per hour peak rate).
- Non-members who have paid the $10 Visitor's Fee (per hour) in advance in order to play with a member who has booked a court. Visitors must be accompanied by members.
- All players must be listed in the court booking in Book a Court.
Coaching:
- Coaching may ONLY be conducted by Michael Logarzo Tennis approved coaches or parents coaching their own children.
- Parents who wish to enter the courts to coach (or play with) their children MUST be a member of the club or pay the $10 Visitor's Fee before each visit.
- Coaching of players during competition matches is strictly prohibited.
Attire: Correct tennis attire and tennis-specific shoes must be worn at all times; shirts must remain on.
Maintenance: Members are responsible for bagging courts after use (unless wet) and keeping the Social Rooms tidy.
Prohibitions: Strictly no smoking or vaping on courts or in surrounds. No outside alcohol may be brought onto the premises.
Disciplinary Action & Penalties
The Committee monitors the use of club facilities strictly. Any member found violating club rules, including the abuse of the booking system or failing to pay required fees, will be subject to disciplinary action.
Warning: Any member who is found to be violating these rules or the rules adopted by Chadstone Tennis Club set out by Tennis Australia and/or Tennis Victoria will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including the cancellation of membership.
