Chadstone Tennis Club runs a Tuesday night structured social INTRACLUB competition.

That means:

Intra = All matches played at home

Intra = Play against other Chadstone members

Intra = Social

The format is doubles - you will play 3 sets over the night.

Players are selected in teams of 4, which are carefully graded (regardless of gender) to the same standard, ensuring everybody gets a good game. It is open to males and females. It is a commitment - your team will expect you to be available most weeks. We do have a healthy list of emergencies, for emergencies.

The competition is managed on matchcentre. Players should have a Tennis Australia Competitive Player Profile (CPP), and the results contribute to your Universal Tennis Ranking (UTR). All tennis players can register for a CPP, and we can assist with setting this up.

It’s a great opportunity to play competition matches, with no away matches, and with the same group of people every week!

Each week 10 teams of 4 players arrive at 7pm for a lightly competitive set of matches. The other teams have byes, or fill in as emergencies. After tennis, we retreat to the clubhouse for Asahi beer, party pies, biscuits and dip, and other nibblies. Some people leave early, and some don’t!

We run two seasons a year, first half and second half. Each season culminates in finals and a party!
