• BUNDEENA DISTRICT TENNIS CUP IS RUNNING A SWEEP for the AO 
• tickets purchased will help our club lauch the next 50 years of tennis in Bundeena  
• THE AO SWEEP DRAW will happen during the early evening of our 50 year celebrations

          so purchase your tickets  & come join us for the draw

•  SOMETHING SPECIAL IN THE WIND because we have been getting altogether to come support these events for some time now  it might be possibel that we get to meet with one of our heroes at the United cup .... don't miss this 

Our Illawarra has a long history of producing amazing players. to name a few..

• at the united cupwe get to sit under the roof the Ken Roseall Arean.
• Ken Rosewall and Rod Laver made australian tennis one of the worlds finest tennis nations in the world in their time winning countless Grand Slam events both singles and doubles.

• the Woodies both fine singles players in their own right teamed up to become world renowned for their doubles accomplishments ... they were absolutly incredible. Todd woodbridge grew up next to Bembrook tennis court and started his tennis in our ISLTA junior competitions

• and now of course we have Alex Deminour  who started playing tennis at Carrs Park where his love for tennis was ignited.

our district has so much to be proud of 

if you would like to recount one of your stories of these player growing up I'd love to hear them and share them or perhaps even give you the chance to share them a the united cup.

a couple of special one I have already heard

• is from the grandmother  of one of the children in our club ... Ken Rosewall used to come practice on their court
• one of my friends bought the property with Bembrook Court to keep the legacey of one of the courts Todd Woodbridge used to play on 
• years ago I meet a lady who bought the house Todd used to live in and while they were renovating they were trying to keep his bedroom as it was - very special

 CELEBRATING 50YEARS 11TH JAN 2026

           YES OUR LITTLE BUNDEENA TENNIS CLUB HAS BEEN RUNNING FOR 50YEARS 

PLEASE COME HELP US CELEBRATE THIS MILESTONE. So many funny memoies to shere and achievments to celebrate.. lots of activies for everyone
