Box Hill Tennis Club is affiliated with the Blackburn & District Night Tennis Association (BDNTA), which provides week-night competition for 51 Venue Clubs in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. Competition occurs from 7pm on Monday to Thursday nights, with a variety of competitions available, including:
- Monday night - Ladies Doubles & Open Doubles
- Tuesday night - Open Doubles
- Wednesday night - Open Doubles
- Thursday night - Open Singles/Doubles & Open Doubles
Box Hill Tennis Club has over 20 night tennis teams representing our club in BDNTA.

Eastern Region Tennis
Box Hill Tennis Club is affiliated with the Eastern Region Tennis Association (ERT), which provides weekend competition for nearly 80 affiliated clubs over the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Seniors competition includes Open Rubbers, Open Doubles and Open Singles/Doubles and occurs on Saturday and Sundays.

Our club fields over 20 Junior ERT teams and Juniors also participate in the Tennis Victoria Junior Pennant competition which play on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Junior competition includes:
- Rubbers (Open)
- Singles/doubles (Open, Girls and Boys)
- Doubles (Open)
- Development Competitions for a range of age groups.

Tennis Victoria Pennant
Tennis Victoria Pennant is Australia’s largest inter-club league, Pennant facilitates a high -level competition in a team-based environment. To register your interest or enquire about Pennant at BHTC, please contact our Senior Pennant Convenor, Simon.
In-house competitions
Fast4 Tennis doubles competition
Our in-house Fast4 Tennis doubles competition runs for six-weeks on Wednesday nights during the break between BDNTA seasons (June-July) & (December-January). The competition is run by our Future Demand Tennis coaches, who select the teams to ensure there’s a level playing field for everyone involved.
The Fast4 Tennis doubles competition is open to members and non-members, however, due to limited places members will take priority. If you are interested in participating in this competition, please contact Club Head Coach, Alexei for more details or to register.
Club Championships
Club Championships occur once a year at the Club. The Junior Club Championships are run by Future Demand Tennis, while the Senior Club Championships are run by the Club committee.
Midweek Seniors & Veterans Social Tennis DWEEK
