Alcheringa Junior Program

Our Junior Program will be back Term 2 2024.

The program will run in line with the NSW school term with a 45 min group lesson once a week for beginner players. Our lessons are run by a volunteer community coach and accomodate ages 5-14.

Who Are We?

Alcheringa Tennis Club is a proud, family friendly club located on the banks of the mighty Murray River. Established in 1976, the club has a long history playing tennis in the area and is the only club situated in the growing townships of Gol Gol and Buronga.

Over the years, our facilities have grown from private courts in Monak and Trentham Cliffs, to two asphalt courts and currently eight synthetic turf courts, four of which are under lights.

The club is a consistently competitive part of the Sunraysia District Tennis Association's Winter Competition and also runs its own social comp over the summer months. We pride ourselves on our welcoming and social nature, hosting various club events throughout the year and fostering our strong sense of community.

We are always welcoming new members and encourage anyone who enjoys tennis or would like to learn to join our club, both junior and senior players.
