Meet the Club
Firstly, Welcome! We can't wait to see you on the court with us.
AIC Tennis Club has been a fixture in the local community since 1981, providing a place where people of all ages and all abilities can play and enjoy tennis.
As a club, we prioritise making tennis accessible, affordable, and enjoyable. Whether you’re new to the game, returning after a break, or seeking regular competition, AIC offers opportunities for everyone.
The Club is situated behind the Australian Italian Club in Prospect, Tasmania.
We have two flexipave courts, with LED lighting and ample free parking.
The Club provides a secure children’s area next to the courts, which is a safe space for the kids to run around in whilst you enjoy your time on court.
There’s a quaint clubhouse and toilets which members have access to.
Membership & Pennant Fees
AIC Tennis Club provides inclusive, family-friendly memberships that make it easy and affordable for everyone to enjoy tennis. Every membership includes access to courts and the club facilities. These are accessible seven days a week, 9am–9pm (outside competition times).
If you are seeking to participate in Club competitions or Inter-Club Pennant Competitions, these are charged in addition.
Rosters & Competitions
AIC Tennis Club runs regular intra Club competitions, as well as maintaining a strong presence within Tennis North Pennant Competitions.
AIC Club Twilight Rosters
Monday Nights - 6pm to 9pm
Thursday Nights - 6pm to 8pm
Competitions are generally mixed doubles and are run between September to March with a 6 week break over Christmas.
Annually, AIC run Club Championships and other seasonal rosters as driven by committee and players.
Tennis North Pennant Competitions
Tennis North Tasmania offers evening rosters on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, open to all genders and experience levels. Match results contribute to player rankings and UTR scores. Competitions run in Spring (Sept–Mar) and Autumn (Feb–Jun).
A midweek ladies-only competition is held on Wednesdays, 9:30am–2:30pm. These are run annually across September to March.
