Social Tennis
NOTE: whilst Loton does have racquets for visitors to use, they are only available for use during social tennis.
SATURDAYS
We welcome players of all abilities – the focus is on having fun! Social doubles play takes place from 2pm to 6pm every Saturday during the 2023-24 season. Open Day 23/24 will be on Saturday 21st October 2023 afterwhich social tennis will run continute from 2pm every Saturday through until May / June 2024.
Members are rostered on as Duty Captains throughout the season and schedule play using match software. Players are usually matched against people of similar ability and most players get to meet and play with everyone. Social tennis is open to members and to visitors.
Visitors play social tennis for free on their first visit. After then, visitors pay $15 to play tennis for the whole afternoon or $10 for half the afternoon.
Members pay $3 to cover the cost of balls.
WEDNESDAY TWILIGHT TENNIS
Twilight tennis (5-7pm) is a regular summer feature and is extremely popular during the warmer months. Commencing on the 25 October 2023 at 5pm and continue until April 2024.
Twilight tennis is free for members and $5 for visitors.
