This week saw the Spring Competition Season of the Blackburn District Nights (BDNTA) draw to a close and what an amazing result for Kew Tennis Club!
Fantastic effort for all four ladies doubles BDNTA Ladies Doubles teams, with three of the the four teams (Winenots, Dropshots and Foxes) reaching the Semi-Finals. In addition, a big well done to the Kew Highlights on another terrific season.
The Kew Winenots_Section 3: Lou Duncan, Lisa Trevorrow, Kirsten Baker, Natalie Ryan, Catherine Fuggle and Georgie Wilson took out the Season Premier honours on Monday 23rd against East Malvern Get a Grip.
The Kew Dropshots_Section 4: Elsa Green, Yvonne Leung, Sreyla Lim, Alison Lam, Adele Iacuone and Rebekah Brown took out the Season Premiers on Monday 23rd against the Canterbuy Couriers.
The Old Salty Dogs_Sections 11: On Tuesday night, it was a win for the newest addition to the adult competition family at Kew, "The Old Salty Dogs" who took out the Season Premier honours against Oakleigh. Congratulations: Cameron Ryan, Josh Fisher, James Mackenzie, Ian Wilson, Stewart Eager, Richard Addison
We currently have four ladies doubles teams competing in the BDNTA Monday night competition for Kew Tennis Club (which is full capacity) and four open doubles teams competing on a Tuesday night for the Club (also at capacity).
