Junior and Senior Club Championships - 25/26 April
Grovedale Tennis Club is hosting the 2026 Open-age and Junior Club Championships on 25 and 26 April (with a new date and added division) and it is free for all club members.

Matches will start on Saturday afternoon for juniors and Sunday morning for Open-age divisions. We will host multiple grades to cater for all abilities. Junior singles and doubles will have smaller divisions, open-age singles will be seeded with multiple starting times, and open-age doubles will be round-robin - all measures to ensure everyone will have competitive matches. Results will not contribute towards UTRs.
The open-age singles championship matches will be held at 6:00 pm Sunday with pizza being available for all competitors to enjoy while watching some great tennis.
All matches will be one set, with the open-age championship singles matches being best of two sets with a ten-point tiebreaker instead of a full third set.

Who are we?
Grovedale Tennis Club is located at Burdoo Reserve on Wingarra Drive, Grovedale and is one of the largest clubs in Geelong. Grovedale Tennis Club has over 300 members playing various competitions throughout the week.
In 2016 Grovedale received a major renovation to upgrade club room facilities and has one of the premier club rooms of any sports club in Geelong.
In August 2024, Grovedale Tennis Club acquired a second site, located in Belmont on Francis Street.
New members are always welcome regardless of standard as either competitive or social players. With 8 floodlit courts at Burdoo Reserve and six more free to the public at Francis Street, Grovedale Tennis Club offers a wide range of activities, including competitions, social play and coaching.
