Pickleball is a fun, social paddle sport played on a badminton-sized court, combining elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Using a solid paddle and a lightweight plastic ball, it’s easy to learn, suitable for all ages and abilities, and surprisingly addictive. The game focuses more on tactics, placement, and patience than power, making it both accessible and rewarding, with plenty of long rallies and laughs along the way. At Whittlesea Tennis & Pickleball Club, pickleball is a growing part of our community, with a strong focus on inclusion, enjoyment, and player development — whether you’re picking up a paddle for the first time or already hooked.
Pickleball Social Sessions
Join us for our Social Pickleball Sessions, held at Whittlesea Secondary College Basketball Stadium:
Fridays: 7:30pm – 9:30pm
Sundays: 3:00pm – 5:00pm
Cost: $15 for non-members and $10 for Members (includes paddle & ball hire)

Pickleball Coaching
New to Pickleball or looking to build confidence on court? We offer structured coaching sessions designed to help players learn the fundamentals in a fun, supportive, and welcoming environment.
All coaching is run by Jess, a Level 1 Certified Pickleball Coach, with a strong focus on technique, confidence, and enjoyment of the game.
Beginner Group Coaching Sessions:
Sundays: 2:00pm – 3:00pm
Cost: $25 per person
Bookings essential as there is a maximum of 8
• Learn the rules, scoring, serving, and court positioning
• Build consistency, control, and confidence
• Suitable for beginners
• All equipment provided
👉 Bonus: Stay on for Social Play from 3:00pm – 4:00pm, included with your coaching session.
