Resignation of WCTC President, Graeme Rossiter

Message from Club's Vice-President

Dear Members,

I regret to inform you of the resignation of our club’s current President, Graeme Rossiter due to ill-health. The club’s Committee has ongoing contact with Graeme and his family and will communicate any changes in Graeme’s circumstances.

Graeme first joined the Weston Creek Tennis Club in 1982 and since then, has held President and Vice President roles for 25 years. The committee would like to thank Graeme for his long and exemplary service and recognise the benefit his knowledge and presence has brought to our club.

The current WCTC committee will fill the executive roles early in the new year (February) until the next AGM in 2024. We will advise you of any changes as soon as possible.

Max Rafferty
WCTC Vice President

Appointment of New President

Dear Members,

Graeme Rossiter has formally advised the Committee of his immediate resignation from the Club Presidency as of 14 December 2023, leaving a vacancy in our Committee.

The Committee has agreed that the Vice-President, Max Rafferty, assumes the role of President, until a Committee meeting can be held in early February 2024.

In February 2024, the Committee will meet to formally appoint a new interim President for the six month period until the next AGM in August 2024, consistent with the Club’s Constitution.

Clair Dupont
WCTC Public Officer / Secretary
