Court Bookings
San Remo - courts are available for hire $10 / hour via The Golden Chain Quays Motel, 39 Phillip Island Road, San Remo.
Newhaven - General Public access is available at no charge at the Newhaven Tennis Courts, located at Boys Home Road, Newhaven.
Both locations are available during daylight hours.
About Us
Westernport Tennis Club is located in the grounds of the San Remo Recreation Centre, San Remo, the gateway to Phillip Island. Established in 1997, we currently host around 200 members and provide facilities for both social and competitive players.
WTC has 4 mod grass courts with lighting and our clubrooms are co-located within the San Remo Recreation Centre, Wynne Road, San Remo. We also access 4 further hard courts located at Newhaven, Boys Home Road, Newhaven (adjacent to Phillip Island Soccer Club ground).
We offer summer and winter club competitions, both ladies, mens and mixed comps, as well as a considerable junior program. Our club is under the umbrella of the Korrine & District Junior Tennis Association which runs both summer & winter junior inter-club competitions. WTC has teams in the mid-week & Saturday mens & ladies district competition.
Club Members are also welcome to participate in our Social Tennis Night held every Monday evening from 6pm at San Remo Tennis Courts, Wynne Road, San Remo.
Membership
Membership is a fantastic way to enjoy your love of tennis or to start learning how to play. WTC offers a range of options that include social and competition play.
We love our tennis at WTC and pride ourselves on our friendly and welcoming atmosphere at the club. All members are required to abide by our Club Policy in addition to the Tennis Australia 3 Code of Behaviours Competitive Play Policy at all times whilst present at the Westernport Tennis Club.
