Tiny Towns LED light conversion

I am pleased to announce that our club was successful in getting funding from the State Government Tiny Towns initiative to convert the halogen lights on our Courts 1 and 2 to LED. The government has provided almost $24,000, which will cover 80% of the cost. We were keen to convert the lights on all three courts so we approached the Bendigo Bank for additional funding. The Diamond Creek and Hurstbridge branches contributed $2,000 each which will cover almost 40% of the cost to convert the lights on Court 3. The conversion is due to commence on 28 July and should take around two to three days to complete. Once the lights are installed, we will hold an opening ceremony to showcase the light and thank those who have assisted in the project.
