TTC receives ACT Grant for LED Lighting Upgrade

The club has received a grant of $30,000 (GST excl) from the ACT Government’s Sport and Recreation 2021 Capital Assistance Program.

The project to upgrade court lighting to LED on all 4 of the courts will cost approximately $60,000. Turner Tennis Club will cover the balance from our reserves, however we have also been invited to apply to Tennis Australia, through Tennis ACT, for some additional funding to assist the project. We will keep you posted!

Work is expected to be carried out in August 2021 – we will update members on exact timing and try to minimise disruption to play.
