About Us
The Tin Can Bay Tennis Club is located at 6 Whiting Street Tin Can Bay and features a cosy little Clubhouse with full kitchen facilities. There’s plenty of undercover seating area to view the on-court action in comfort and ample off-street parking right behind the Clubhouse.

A seemingly endless supply of free tea, coffee and biscuits helps to keep the always in-depth conversations flowing when players are having a break from their on-court antics. Indeed, members who may be having a temporary pause from playing tennis for whatever reason often pop in to have a cuppa and join in on the chat. And this is also what our Club is all about, not only a great little tennis playing facility but also a friendly meeting place where everyone can catch up with one another.
CLUB MEETINGS:
The Annual General Meeting of Tin Can Bay Tennis Club Inc. is usually held February or March where members will appoint Committee members and deal with all matters relating to the Club’s continued progress. A second special meeting of all members is held in October to deal with any ideas, proposals and matters that may have arisen after the AGM.
The President reserves the right to call a general meeting of all members at any time should there be an issue or matter relating to the Club that requires the consideration of members. If this becomes the case the Club will advise members by four methods:
- A notice on the notice board at the Clubhouse
- An email out to all members
- An announcement on the Tin Can Bay Tennis Players Facebook page
- Word-of-mouth (the "grape-vine" seems to be very healthy in our Club!)
NEW 2026 COMMITTEE:
The Tin Can Bay Tennis Club Inc. held its Annual General Meeting for 2026 and with it came a big change in the Executive Committee after Ian “V-Man”, “Wimbledon” Lynda, and “Pirate” Phil vacated their roles.
Voted in as the Club’s new President is Lee “LeeBee” Gray. Known for her killer back-hand drop shots, Lee brings to the Presidency a plethora of positive ideas and new initiatives which aim to help elevate the Club to new heights for the benefit of members and newcomers alike. Lee’s vast experience together with her infectious enthusiasm for the future for the Club saw her voted in as President by a resounding unanimous vote among members.

A happy Club is one where every member has a voice ... and where there is a good supply of Arnotts Monte Carlo buscuits!
