Introduction
Sunshine Coast Ladies Midweek Tennis
The Sunshine Coast Ladies Midweek Tennis Association (SCLMWTA Inc) has been connecting women through organised tennis on the Sunshine Coast since 1968. We offer friendly, well-run competitions that suit a range of playing standards and lifestyles. This connection and collaboration has also allowed to to continue to support charities on the Sunhine Coast. Each year the committee selects a chartiy and coordinates events and acitivities to raise funds.
We currently run two fixture competitions:
๐พ Wednesday Midweek Tennis
Ladies’ doubles played during the day, ideal for players who enjoy structured competition in a relaxed, social environment.
๐ Thursday Night Tennis
A shorter evening doubles format played at central venues, perfect for those who prefer to play after work.
Our competitions run across two seasons each year:
- Autumn: February – June
- Spring: mid-July – November
No tennis is played during Queensland school holidays.
