St Johns Catholic Tennis Club

SJCTC uses the 'Book A Court' System.  Court bookings for members and the public can only be made using this system.   Click on the court bookings tab above to take you to the booking calendar.

St John’s Catholic Tennis Club (SJCTC) – Founded 1937

We are located at 54 Yarra Street, Heidelberg, Victoria Australia. Our club house and courts are at the back of the carpark.

SJCTC is part of the parish complex of St John’s Heidelberg located on the corner of Yarra and Cape Streets, Heidelberg. This complex embraces the historic St John’s Church (established in 1853) and Presbytery and St John’s Primary School. Access to the club is via the car park in Yarra Street next to the Presbytery.

The tennis club dates from 1937 and has 3 synthetic turf courts, all with newly upgraded LED lights. 

SJCTC participates in many local competions through the following associations.

• North Eastern Night Tennis Group (NENTG)
• Diamond Valley Tennis Association (DVTA)
• North Eastern Juniors Tennis Group (NEJTG)
• Eastern Region Tennis (ERT) 

Members are encouraged to participate in the various competitios and social hitting opportunities including:

• Friday morning doubles from 9am
• Sunday mornings doubles from 8am to 10am
• Friday night singles from 5pm
