Reid Featured and Club Hero Honoured at Newcombe Medal Tennis Awards Night
At the Newcombe Medal Australian Tennis Awards 2021, Club member Sue Willis was named joint winner of Australia's Most Outstanding 35+ Tennis Senior. The Reid Tennis Club is very proud of her, it was a well-deserved recognition for one of the Club's most popular members.

At the awards night, Reid was featured in a video highlighting the strides the Club has made during these difficult COVID years, and how tennis has enhanced the lives of our members and the community. Click on this link to see the video.

Remembering Gordon Robson
It is with sadness the Reid Tennis Club notes the death of Gordon Robson only a few short months after celebrating his 90th birthday at his regular tennis morning. President Sue Willis says "I was only watching Gordon hitting a screaming forehand down the centre of court 2 about 6 weeks ago, so it is hard to believe he is now no longer with us. We will miss his friendliness and joy for tennis.  He was so much a part of the club for so long." You can see him play here. See the  Canberra Times Article about Gordon.
