DARLING DOWNS UTR JUNIOR TENNIS LEAGUE FIXTURES

(1) Yellow Ball

Yellow Ball is played on a full size tennis court with the traditional yellow balls. The criteria is, but not limited to, those children in Year 7 and above. Cut off date for registering for Term 2 is Sun. April 27th Team requests will be taken but not necessarily granted as evenness of the competition is paramount. 4 till 5.30pm

(Matches will rotate through these two time slots)

Fees

Registration fee $25 per player for the term Playing fee $160 per player for the term

Format

2 players per team

1 x singles match per player (Two sets - first to 4 games each set.

If games are tied ie. 4/2,2/4 a 5-point tie break will be played to decide the match) 1 x doubles match per player (First to 6 games)

1 x doubles match per player (First to 6 games)

(2) GREEN BALL 

Green Ball is played on a full size tennis court with slightly lower compression balls than the traditional yellow balls. The criteria is for those in Year 6 & under who feel comfortable serving, rallying & scoring. Cut off date for registering for Term 2 is Mon. April 28th Team requests will be taken but not necessarily granted as evenness of the competition is paramount. Email darlingdownstennisleague@gmail.com to register.
