2025 Biggets Morning Tea

Phillip Island Tennis Club Thursday Ladies are hosting their annual Biggest Morning Tea at the Tennis Club on THURSDAY, 22nd MAY to raise funds for the Cancer Appeal.

*MIXED ROUND  ROBIN. Once again the Thursday Men’s group and everyone else, have been invited to participate in a MIXED ROUND ROBIN, commencing at 9am.  Entry fee is $5 which will be collected on the day. There is a list in the Clubrooms for names of those wishing to play. Names need to be finalized by Tuesday, 20th to enable the draw to be made. If unable to place your name on the list, a message can be sent to Anita Rowe on 0418292876 by the due date.

*WANTED – BELLS. This year we are having a display of BELLS, so you’re most welcome to bring any you have, to add to the display. There will also be a chance to CAST VOTES in the various         categories.

*RAFFLE This year  we are most grateful to Terry White Chemist for donating  the main prize for our Raffle. There will probably some other prizes donated, closer to the date.

    Tickets will be $2 each or 3 for $5.

*GUESS the NUMBER of SWEETS in a jar.  $2 for 3 guesses.

*IN WHICH CUP is the TEA BAG?  $2 a guess.

*PUT the CHERRY on top of the PANCAKES. $2

*GUESS how many CUPS and TEAPOTS are in the PICNIC PICTURE.

*TEA-RIVIA  and WORD SEARCH sheets available, as well as TEA BINGO if time permits.

We have been issued with a QR CODE which can be used to make donations directly to our Web Page if it is more convenient for you.

These will be displayed on the many collection boxes throughout the room.

THANK YOU to the Men who are donating the money raised from their empty bottles and cans to our Biggest Morning Tea Appeal.

Also to Robyne, Mel C and Carmel who have already raised over $140 towards our effort.

We look forward to seeing as many as possible on THURSDAY, 22nd MAY to join in the FUN and help us raise funds for the Cancer Council.

2024 Biggets Morning Tea

The Thursday Morning Ladies held their 2024 Biggest Morning Tea event on Thursday 23 May. Around 30 people attended, with the ladies being well supported by the Thursday Afternoon Mens. The food and tennis were fabulous, and  $566 was raised for the Cancer Council.  As always, a lot of work was done to make this a successful event - well done to everyone involved!
