Guidelines

Nunawading Tennis Club is dedicated to fostering a friendly, inclusive, and well-managed environment for everyone. The club is seeking to grow our member base and to prepare for this we have introduced new guidelines to help enhance the experience of all members and also to cater for court bookings by non-members.

Members can book courts without charge. No light fees apply when members book courts for evening and night-time play.

 Visitor & Guest Fee Policy

  • Members are welcome to bring up to 3 guests at a time.
  • The hosting member must be present on court and is kindly reminded to take responsibility for their guest's behaviour and understanding of club etiquette including bagging and watering courts.
  • $3.00 guest fee per person per hour ($1.50 per half hour) is to be paid online at the time of booking.
  • Member guests may attend up to 3 times per year. If they wish to play more than that they are required to become members.
  • For competition teams, non-members can be invited to play as emergency players.  A non-member can play up to three times in a season and cannot play in finals. To be eligible to play finals or play more than three times, they need to be come a member.

 Court Booking Fairness

  • If a member is unable to attend their booking, we kindly ask that the court booking is cancelled at least 4 hours in advance.
  • A "No Show" will be recorded if no cancellation occurs and the court is left unused.
  • After 3 no-shows in any 6-month period, booking privileges for that member maybe reviewed.
  • Members may book one court for a maximum of 1.5 hours per day
  • Members may book courts a maximum of 2 times in any 7 day period
