Northside Ladies Tennis Club

At  Northside Ladies we offer 2 regular competitions during the year as well as a Pre-Season competition and a fun tournament on day of our Presentation mid-year. 

The Pre-Season tournament is run over 4 to 5 weeks after the Christmas/New Year holidays. It has its own format (3 sets in doubles partnership – Round Robin) which differs to the regular season format.   

Regular seasons 1 & 2 are our ladies weekly fixtures which play on a Wednesday on hardcourt and artificial grass surfaces. The format of play is 8 sets of doubles with each player playing 4 sets during the day. At least 2 players must arrive at courts by 9.15am to commence warm-up, with first set starting by 9.30am.  A new set may not commence after 3pm.

At the end of Season 1 we run a one-day Pimmbledon tournament with our Presentation Day and lunch which again is a doubles partnership in Round Robin format.

There is no play during regular school holidays.
