Mordialloc Tennis Club (MTC or Club) is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit community sporting organisation that offers parts of its premises for event hire as a service to members and the local community, and to help fund MTC’s tennis facilities.
MTC’s premises are available to hire for events with up to a maximum of 40 attendees per event, and acceptable uses include:
- family events
- work functions, farewells or events like office Christmas parties
- product launches or corporate events
- presentation nights
- community forum

Only one event can be accommodated at a time and will have access to the outside area (excluding tennis courts), club room, kitchen and bathrooms, and use of 5 rectangular tables seating 6-8 persons and chairs. A BBQ is also available on request.
MTC’s premises is available for hire as follows:
- Sunday between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
- Monday to Saturday between 10 am and 11pm, with the exception of Club competition times: Tuesday 9am – 1pm, Thursday 7-10:30pm, Saturday until 5:30pm
Please note:
- Anzac Day and Good Friday – not available
- Competition times are excluded: Tuesday 9am – 1pm, Thursday 7-10:30pm, Saturday until 5:30pm
Event organisers should note that tennis play and coaching can occur every day between 7:00am and 11:00pm, and the hire of MTC’s venue does not prevent the tennis courts from being used by others.
The Club does not provide event catering but can recommend external partners on request.
Excluded Events
MTC has full discretion whether or not to accept a venue hire request and the following types of events are examples of events that will not be accepted:
- birthday parties for individuals aged 16 to 21
- school formal after-parties
- any event where alcohol is offered
