Tournaments
The Longford Tennis Club organises several tournaments and pennants throughout the year:
Club Mixed Doubles: 24th September 2023
Ladies Doubles: 22nd October 2023
Ladies Singles Club Championship: 12th November 2023
Men's Singles Club Championship: 19th November 2023
Mixed Doubles Tournament: 3rd March 2024
Men's Doubles Tournament: 24th March 2024
Fast4 Tournament: May/June 2024 (date to be confirmed)
Pennants
The Club has a Tuesday night mixed doubles roster, usually running from February to May, and again from September to December.
The Club currently has a children's roster on Monday late afternoon/evening during daylight saving.
The club has several teams entered in the Ladies Midweek pennant from September to April each year.
During the winter months there is ladies social tennis on a Wednesday (weather permitting), commencing around 10 am. Hot soup and bread is provided for lunch for a small charge.
