Leongatha Tennis Club has 2 teams in the Allambee Mirboo & District Tennis Association (AM&DTA) district competition that runs from 7th October 2023 through to 23rd March 2024.   Results are presented as published in the local community newspaper South Gippsland Sentinel Times - subscribe for free on their website.

ALLAMBEE MIRBOO AND DISTRICT TENNIS ASSOCIATION

SECTION 1 were the only matches played this week, with all Section 2 matches being washed out.

Inverloch men won well in their match against Koonwarra this week.  The lady’s sets were much closer with Inverloch winning two sets and losing a tiebreaker.  Koonwarra managed to take two of the mixed sets.

Korumburra won well against Leongatha North. The two tiebreakers for the match both going Korumburra’s way.

With a bye in both sections this season, it makes it a little easier to find fill-ins.

Section 1 results: Korumburra 8.70 defeated Leongatha North 1.39, Inverloch 6.62 defeated Koonwarra 3.40, Westernport BYE

Ladder: Inverloch 23, Westernport 18.5, Koonwarra 15.5, Korumburra 14, Leongatha North 11.5

Section 2 results: Baromi v Leongatha Green – WASH OUT, Korumburra v Outtrim – WASH OUT, Leongatha Gold BYE
