Coaching
Coaching at Kambah Tennis Club is led by Christian Anrath and Narelle Raftery of ARTennis. They offer both group and private lessons for all ages and skill levels. In addition to coaching, they also provide racquet sales, restringing services, and school holiday clinics.

Meet the Coaches
Christian Anrath – Head Coach

Advanced Pro Level 2 (ATPCA)
Christian is an experienced coach with a deep background in competitive tennis. He represented his state as a junior and returned to the sport in the 1990s to play open tournaments across Australia. His coaching journey began at Tuggeranong Tennis Centre, once the ACT’s largest, where he coached over 2,000 students. He has since coached at North Woden and Pines Tennis Clubs, before joining Kambah in 2006. Christian brings energy, motivation, and an intuitive ability to teach students across all levels.
Narelle Raftery

Narelle is one of Australia’s most accomplished seniors players. In 2013, she reached the #1 national ranking for Australian women over 50 and was ranked as high as #9 globally in the ITF World Seniors rankings. That same year, she won three bronze medals at the World Seniors Tennis Championships in Turkey. Narelle is also a multiple-time ACT Seniors Champion and the recipient of the 2013 ACT Masters Sports Star of the Month and the 2011 Bob Thornton Award. Her achievements and experience make her an exceptional mentor and coach.
