We had a committee meeting last Saturday and the following events have been decided:

1.TWILIGHT TENNIS AND BBQ. We are having a family night on Thursday 24th November commencing at 5.30. Come along and have a social hit of tennis, mini tennis for the young and young at heart , a BBQ ,BYO drinks . We will supply tea, coffee and H2O. It will be free for members, $5.00 for non members and $10.00 for non member families. Bring your neighbours , extended family, grand parents and grand kids. Let us know if you are coming, so that we can cater,and if you have specific food needs. Hopefully the weather is kind and the grass is cut. 

2. INDOOR PICKLEBALL IS COMING TO IRONBARK! This week we are setting up a Pickle Ball court in the clubrooms. For those who don't know about Pickle Ball look it up on YOUTUBE. It is a great fun game for both old and young. We will let you know when it is up and running, hopefully this week. Any one interested in playing please let me know. We will supply all equipment . Our next step will be outdoor courts making use of the asphalt on the bottom courts.

3. Christmas Break Up. There will be lunch at the National Hotel on Thursday 8th December commencing @12.30 . All members welcome. Please contact Barb, Carol or myself if you wish to come.

4. SPONSORSHIP.  If we wish to continue to improve the club and the facilities we need to look at ways to raise money. Our plan is always to keep our fees affordable, constantly apply for local and govt. grants , and we our are now putting together packages for sponsorship. These would include signage space on the fences, logos on our facebook page and webpage , a logo painted on the new picleball courts etc. If any member would like to be involved, or knows of someone who would like to become a spnsor pleas contact me.

5. HIT UP NET.   We now have a hit up net on the back fence. Many thanks to Kurt, one of our members, for coming up with the concept, and putting in the time and planning to install it himself. It is a great way to improve your game. Again, thank you Kurt.
