Spring is here at last, and with it a chance to get back on court for those who found winter too cold, and decided to travel north! Those of us who have stayed have enjoyed plenty of tennis during winter. Firstly, here are some dates to put in your diary:

Sept. 7 Committee meeting commencing @7.00 pm. All members are welcome to come along.

Sept. 17th, Working Bee at the courts commencing @9.00 am, finishing around 11.00 am. Even if you can come for 30 mins that would be great.

Sept. 23rd AGM commencing @ 11.00 at the Clubrooms. Would love as many members as possible to come along. We are looking for new committee members with new ideas , so don't be shy. Let me know if you are interested.

October 8th. Membership renewal/ family day. Bring the family along for breakfast, try out pickleball and sign up for another year.

Summer Pennant @ the Bendigo Tennis Centre. If you , or your children are interested in playing pennant this year contact me and I will co-ordinate it for you. You may wish to put a team on the court, or join a team as an individual, or be a fill in when needed. If you have any queries contact me.

Finally, we are still looking to set up a Community Coaching programme at the Club, and are looking for a co-ordinator. There is a course being run at the BTC in early October, and the Club is happy to pay the fees if we have someone who is interested. This could be a parent, or a senior student ,looking for some partime work down the track as an assistant coach. Would love to hear from you.
