Good afternoon. We are now into school holidays and Steve ,our coach, has got clinics happening next week. Check out Steve's web page or contact him on 0419411780 if you are interested. Also, next Tuesday afternoon from 4.00 pm we are having a come and try pickleball event for juniors and from 5.00  pm for seniors. This event will feature Tess Laphams , who captains a team in the pro pickleball comp , and is supported by a new club sponsor, PH Property . In the next week daylight saving finishes , which will effect both Steve's coaching and outdoor pickleball. We have put submissions into Council over the past three years requesting assistance with both lighting and fencing. To be more accurate we first put in a submission in 2011 with no success. We have been told that we are not in the short or medium term plans for an upgrade. This despite being told that the fences are past their use by date, we have only one functioning toilet, and cannot meet the needs of the disabled. There is little that we can do re toilets and fences, but we are looking at trialing a temporary light solution to help us with coaching and pickleball .We have contacted our neighbours and at this stage have had no objections, and  are currently having dialogue with Council. We hope to get the trial up and running in the next few weeks.
