Good evening and welcome. The Australian Open is done and dusted for another year , but real tennis rolls on. The number of members using the courts is growing ,and Steve Storer is coaching up a storm. I will forward the coaching time table to you in the next few days as Steve is settling in to a routine. Our Pickleball,Pizza and Pinot night was a great night with good numbers turning up and having a good time. It did highlight that our courts need to be separated more, and remedial action will be taken in the next few weeks. On the subject of pickleball , there will be no pickleball this week based on the current forcast of hot and stormy weather.
Our Community Coaching will recommence shortly and I will notify when the start date is finalised.
Finally, there will be a working bee next Sunday the 18th Feb commencing @9.00 am. We need to clear some weeds along the fence line , and do some spraying . Also, the storage room needs to be re-organised to fit the new Hot Shot Kit in, as well as some coaching equipment. A dust and sweep will help as well.
There is a committee meeting this Tuesday commencing @ 7.00 pm. If any one has an interest in becoming involved in the Club you are most welcome to attend.
Cheers,
Adrian.
