Welcome to

Wet Weather Advice!

Just a reminder about our rules around wet weather cancellations for this weekend:

  • If there is no official announcement on the HTA Facebook page and website, tennis is going ahead.
  • All players must attend – a team with missing players at the match start time will forfeit the sets that those players were due to play
  • Every endeavour to complete the match must be made
  • A match may be abandoned with captains’ agreement, provided it is later than half an hour (Juniors) or one hour (Seniors) after the scheduled start time.

Check the Rules of Match and Play for full details.

Jo Casey

Good Sports Award Recipient - Senior!

Congratulations to Graeme Goldsmith (Crafers) on receiving the HTA Good Sports Award (Senior) for the 24-25 season. Graeme received multiple nominations for this award. Comments made included:

  • plays the game in good sprit win or lose
  • has always exhibited good sportsmanship
  • plays tennis for the sheer enjoyment of the game
  • supports the juniors
  • very fair and respectful on court

We are so proud to have players like Graeme in our Association - not only does he contribute so much to the running of the Junior Competition, but he is also a wonderful example to others of what it means to be a "Good Sport" on and off the court.

Stay tuned for details of our Junior Winner - Liam Byrne (Onkaparinga) - coming soon!
