The competition involves each player playing 3 sets of doubles, first to 6 games, with a tie-breaker at 6 all. Highton usually enters Mixed, Mens and Open Format teams each season, and will enter a ladies team if numbers allow!

Teams comprise 4 - 6 players, with some players getting a week off on a rotating basis, depending on the availability of players and especially if they are playing in a 2 by 2 team.

The Winter competition runs from April to August and the Summer competition runs from October to March with a long break over the Christmas period.
