Saturday Juniors

The Saturday Morning competition is a home and away, team based competition organised by Tennis Geelong.

Teams and players are graded into sections by the junior committee and play begins at either 8, 9 or 10am (depending on the venue/draw).

The competition involves each player playing one set of singles and one set of doubles. Both Mixed and Single Sex sections are offered and use the same format, with single sex singles played as well as mixed doubles. 

Teams comprise 4 - 6 players, with a minimum of 4 players required to play each week. 

To be eligible to play, players need to be under the age of 18 as of October 1st [for both the Winter and Summer seasons]. 

The Junior Winter competition runs from April to August and the Summer competition runs from October to March with a long break over the Christmas period.
