Saturday Morning Juniors – Eastern Region Tennis Association

Association Junior Competition is conducted on Saturday mornings from 8.30am to 12 noon.  There is a Summer Season (Terms 4 & 1) and a Winter Season (Terms 2 & 3).  Weekly matches are played on a Home/Away basis and rosters are distributed at Junior Information nights held prior to the commencement of each season. 

Many children start playing in the Junior competition after learning basic tennis skills at coaching lessons and find themselves enjoying the game so much more, both at a competitive and social level. Skills learnt at coaching lessons  are consolidated and most players continue coaching lessons to further extend their skills. 

Membership of Ferny Creek Tennis Club is necessary to represent the Club in Junior competition. This membership entitles access to the courts and hitting wall for practice purposes as well as joining in on Junior Practice Nights and other Club activities.
