Tennis Update - 14th of July 2021

New Courts, Entrance and Fencing work

All this work has now been completed. The new courts are getting lots of use through coaching, competition and social play, and we've also opened them up for public bookings.  If you'd like to see some photos and videos (including aerial/drone from above) from the new court projects please visit https://spaces.hightail.com/receive/ab9ztzHtu7

New Clubhouse (Potential Project)

Council are working towards getting a fully costed design into their budget for the current financial year.  Stay tuned.

Clubhouse Use

The clubhouse can now be used again (including for socialising, food/drink).  Up to 24 people can be in the clubhouse at any time without a Covid Marshall, or up to 48 people with a  Covid Marshall.  A Covid Marshall is just someone who is in charge of making sure the capacity limits and any other restrictions are being followed.   On Tuesday and Wednesday nights in competition season (the only time it's likely we'd have more than 24 people in the clubhouse), a Covid Marshall will be made available by the club.

Book A Court System

A couple of reminders about the system;

  • Please always use the relevant booking code to enter the premises.   This ensures your booking is activated, which includes turning the lights on automatically if the natural light is too low.
  •  Please close the gate after you've entered, even if you've found it open when you arrive.  This will help maintain security, and encourage everyone to use the system as designed so we have minimal issues.    For recurring event bookings like coaching, social tennis and competition, the first person who gets there should enter the code, and that means everyone else just has to push on the gate to open it.
  • If you have any issues, please report all the details to Ritesh (our book a court manager) on ‭0437 407 606 or riteshmittal77@gmail.com, so we can resolve the issue while the system is under warranty.

Annual General Meeting

Our AGM is coming soon (August).  Please keep an eye out for an email with all the details.  It'll be held via Zoom again this year.
