Family Fun Day / Official Court Opening (Saturday 14th of May 22)

It was a fairly soggy day unfortunately, but we made the best of it and had a pretty good turn out considering.  And we had 22 new members join on the day - welcome to the Eltham Tennis Club!

We started with the official opening of our new courts (see pic below, left to right are Cr Geoff Paine (Wingrove Ward), Deputy Mayor Cr Ben Ramcharan (Sugarloaf Ward), club president Jeremy Snowden, State MP for Eltham Vicki Ward,  Cr Natalie Duffy (Edendale Ward));

We had a few speeches including the Nillumbik CEO Carl Cowie, the Deputy Mayor Ben Ramcharan, our Councillor Natalie Duffy, and from our long-time supporter State MP for Eltham Vicki Ward (see pic below). 

Then we moved to the open day, which had a BBQ and some outdoor events but because of the weather ended up mostly inside which was a lot of fun (see pic below).

Reminder - Clubhouse

Now that we are allowed to use the clubhouse please remember to clean up after you use it - vacuum, wipe down tables, wash dry and put away dishes.  And if you see a full bin please empty it into one of the council bins out the back of the clubhouse.  If everyone does their bit we can keep it clean and tidy.
