Since we can't play tennis at our club at the moment you might think it'd be very quiet there.

But no, not today - work has begun on our project for three new courts.  The picture you see here is the soil testing and geotechnical survey in progress on Thursday the 9th of April 2020.   As you may already know Andrew Park was once a rubbish tip - an extra good reason for finding out what's underground before any other design work begins!  

As a rough guide, we should have the detailed design in place by the end of May 2020.  It will then go out to tender.  The planned completion date is December 2020.  Wouldn't it be great to be able to play on blue hard courts leading up to the next Australian Open!
