The CDS Vic North Zone has a network of refund points ready for you to claim your 10 cent refund for every eligible drink can, carton, glass or plastic bottle you return.

Container eligibility

Do not crush your containers or remove their labels, as the CDS Vic North Reverse Vending Machines require the barcode and shape of the container to process your refund.

Eligible containers

Most small portable beverage containers between 150mL and 3L. Check for the 10c mark on the drink container label.

• Aluminium cans
• Plastic bottles
• Glass bottles
• Steel bottles/cans 

Your containers should be uncrushed and lids can be kept on.

Ineligible containers

• Wine and spirit bottles
• Milk containers
• Paper cartons (over 1L)
• Cordial bottles

Don't throw these out! Ineligible containers may still be accepted in your kerbside recycling bin.
