Dear members,
Annual general meeting
Our AGM will be held on Wednesday 15th of October at 6 PM in our clubhouse.
We welcome all members to attend, and as always, we would be very pleased to attract new committee members.
If you are interested in joining the committee or have any questions please contact our Secretary, Ernie Kollegger or President Russell McKimm
Club news
Thank you
It has been a very eventful and successful year with the main events being the installation of lights on court one, two and three and the upgrading of lights on courts four and five. We greatly appreciated the members' cooperation during the periods of inconvenience.
The new lighting has meant that we have been able to have a lot more night time tennis, including competition teams.
In order to accommodate member bookings, we will no longer be able to add extra competition teams or coaching sessions.
Court booking
We strongly encourage Members to reserve a court in advance through the Book A Court system on our website as this will guarantee that a court will be available for you to use.
Casual bookings for non-members must use the Book A Court system and pay accordingly.
Court conditions
With summer approaching, we ask all members and visitors to be very mindful of keeping the courts watered and bagged appropriately before and after play.
We have recently upgraded our overnight sprinkler system, but it is still very important to keep the courts moist in the dry and windy conditions.
Defibrillator
We have now moved our defibrillator to the outside of our clubhouse for more convenient access if needed. Please familiarize yourself with its position.
Membership renewals
Thank you to all members who have already renewed, and we would encourage anyone who hasn’t done so yet to respond quickly.
Club championships
Following on from last year‘s successful championship this year‘s club championship will be held on Saturday 1st November.
Full details will be emailed in early October.
In the meantime, please contact Tim Wang (totaltennisacademyau@gmail.com) if you have any questions.
Looking forward
Following on from last year, where we made significant improvements, we hope that this coming financial year will be a year free of disruptions. Looking forward to a year of enjoyable tennis.
Regards,
Russell McKimm - President
