We've had a lot of requests for more opportunities to play competition, particularly among the players starting out. 

We'd like to trial a singles / doubles competition, similar to our Tuesday night Intraclub. We'll organise teams or 2 or 3 players, depending on numbers, and play one singles set, and two doubles sets. We'll set it up on Matchcentre, just like Tuesday night competition:

Again, depending on numbers, we'll run this across approx 8-12 weeks (if we have 4 teams, we can play 6  home/away matches and two weeks of finals).

Entry Criteria

To create a balanced competition, and opportunities for our starting out players, entry is limited to UTR 3.5 or below players. UTR isn't always accurate though, so if you are playing as a #3 or #4 on a Tuesday, you may also play. Entry is not restricted to members - feel free to invite your friends to play.

Cost etc.

Cost will be $5 for members, $10 for non-members per night. New balls will be provided. Light costs will be covered. Depending on volunteer efforts, light refreshments can be organised.

Volunteers

We will look for assistance to run this event. We can set up the competition in matchcentre, and we will look for some assistance to administer the results, collect payments, organise balls, refreshments, etc.
