VICTORIAN TENNIS SERIES (PENNANT) COMPETITION

Bulleen Tennis Club has had a proud history within this premier metropolitan competition.  Our Pennant Grade 5 Team won the Premiers in 2022 season!

The Club fields both men’s and women’s teams.  Pennant is played on Saturdays and Sundays afternoons. Singles and doubles are played on alternate weeks. Pennant caters for a wide range of abilities and is of a very competitive nature.  Prospective team members should contact the Pennant Charperson in early to mid-November.  Competition begins early April. 

SENIOR REGIONAL COMPETITION

The Club has teams in Eastern Region Tennis (ERT) Inc.  This competition provides for Men’s, and Open teams and is conducted in both the Summer (Saturdays and Sundays)  and Winter seasons (Saturdays only),  catering for players of all standards.  Prospective team members should contact the Senior Convenor in mid-August to play Summer season (starting early October) and in early February to play Winter season (starting early May).

MIDWEEK LADIES’ COMPETITION

Teams are entered in a midweek ladies’ competitions: MEMRLTA (Tuesdays). Prospective team members should the Midweek Ladies Secretary in about first week of December to play Winter season (starting early April) and in about first week of August to play Summer season (starting early September).

NIGHT COMPETITION

The Club enters teams in the North Eastern Night Tennis Group (NENTG).  The competition begins at 7.00 pm and is held on Tuesday evenings for men, Wednesdays for women and Thursdays for mixed teams.  In addition, members can hire courts at night for social play. Prospective team members should contact the Senior Convenor in late October to play Autumn season (starting early February) and in late April to play Spring season (starting early August).

METRO MASTERS TENNIS (MENS) COMPETITION

This doubles competition (Metro Masters Tennis Association) is played by men aged 50 and over on Thursdays, beginning at 1.00pm.  Prospective team members should contact the Senior Convenor first week in January or earlier to play Autumn season (starting early February) and first week in July or earlier to play Spring season (starting early August).

• There are no matches on public holidays and government school holidays. Seniors must be club members to play competition. Members of any age can participate in Senior competition.
