Dear members,

We are inviting members who wish to participate in this year's Tennis Victoria open pennant season to register their interest.

The pennant competition commences in April and involves 14 home and away matches plus finals. The competition involves playing against clubs from all over Melbourne on either a Saturday or Sunday. The team on the day consists of four players and matches alternate each week between doubles and singles. Singles matches are a best of 3 sets (3rd set a super tie break) and doubles matches require each player to play in two rubbers and each rubber is a best of 3 sets (3rd set a super tie break).

This is an open mens and womens competition and there are many grades available to meet all standards. There is also a masters section (35+ - doubles only).

In the lead up to the competition starting in April, practise sessions will held on Sunday afternoons from 4pm. You are welcome to come to these sessions to make enquiries and to practice.
