Social Tennis
Bowral Tennis Club has one official social tennis group. It currently plays twice a week on Tuesday and Friday mornings.
The group plays on a social basis, meaning that there is no formal competition involved, although a friendly competitiveness is always part of the tennis played. Regular attendance is not necessary, just play when you can. The required level of play for the group is approximately Division 2 standard and above.
Non-members are wecome to try the social tennis sessions. If you decide to play regularly you are required to become a club member to continue to play.
In addition, members have formed their own groups, often as as a consequence of meeting fellow tennis players at the offiicial group.
U3A Southern Highlands also organises a social tennis group that plays at the club on Monday mornings. Enrolment through U3A is essential.
