Junior players of varying skill levels are placed in appropriate team divisions and take part in a Riverland Junior Competition between towns. Parents provide team manager guidance and are given assistance with the rules of the game and expected behaviour. Teams are allocated points for wins and receive trophies at the end of the season. Most sets won by an individual player and encouragement awards are given on the club presentation night at the end of the season.
